A Baby is Born!

I became a first-time parent in 2012. When I found out that I was pregnant, I poured over everything I could get my hands on to give my baby the best prenatal care possible. However, when my daughter arrived, I went from being in the know to being clueless and overwhelmed overnight. I wanted to learn how to help my baby develop and learn, but I didn't have the time or energy to digest all the parenting books, web articles, and community forums I found out there. I was time-starved and just plain exhausted.

As moms and dads, we want to be the best parents we can be. We want to actively support our young children and give them the best opportunities for their development and learning, but we don't often know how, and we don't always have the time or energy to do it without a lot of support. That's why we've built Playful Bee.
