Shy or Not? It Can Be Hard to Tell at This Age!

By now, your child has probably outgrown his separation anxiety. Part of this is due to his Attachment and Trust in you - if you are acting friendly towards a person, then that person must be okay. He's also starting to build relationships with people other than just mom and dad and learning to comfort himself by playing with friends or toys, which makes separating from you a lot easier. If he still feels a little shy around new people, continue to offer him reassurance and let him approach the situation at his own pace.

Has your child achieved the following Attachment and Trust developmental milestones yet? If yes, check off all the skill(s) he has already mastered to date!
