Vocabulary Knowledge

Your child's vocabulary is currently growing at a rate of up to 10 words a day. Incredible! She's picking these words up all around her, from adult conversations, books you read to her, or songs you sing together. Plus, she's putting together more complex sentences, as she gains a better handle on the rules of speech. With this expanding Vocabulary Knowledge, she is able to identify more and more pictures and objects in print and in the world around her. To help her expand this skill, you can help her identify the new things she sees whenever possible.
