Expressive Language

Talking with the Grown-Ups!

Your child is in the final transition to adult speech. She's not only able to put together longer sentences and use more descriptive language now, but she's also absorbing the various rules of grammar. In addition, her speech muscles are growing stronger so that she is speaking clear enough for even strangers to understand her. Keep up the conversation during this time period! The more she practices, the better she'll get!

Has your toddler achieved the following Expressive Language developmental milestones yet? If yes, check off all the skill(s) she has already mastered to date!
