Playing with Sounds

Your child is becoming aware of the different sounds and rhythms that make up a language. Have fun with this, and play different word games that focus on letter sounds, rhymes, and syllables. Not only will she enjoy these games, but this early awareness of sound will help her when she starts learning to read.

Has your toddler achieved the following Awareness of Sound Patterns developmental milestones yet? If yes, check off all the skill(s) she has already mastered to date!
