Exploring Patterns

Patterns can be found throughout the natural and manmade world, but what are they and why are they important? A pattern is any sequence that repeats logically, and they can be found throughout all aspects of life, including numbers, images, sounds, written and spoken words, symbols, ideas, behaviors, movements, and routines. Exploring Patterns skills will help your child with her future reading, math, and science abilities, so encourage her to find them and create her own!
