Your Little Shadow - How Your Child Learns from Your Example

Your child is Building Relationships and learning from familiar and new people at this age, having shed his stranger anxiety and now being more curious and socially active. You will notice him copy many of your actions and those of his favorite adults because he wants to please and feels good about meeting expectations. As a result, you may hear him tell another child how to follow the rules using your words or act out familiar daily scenes during pretend play. Remember that he can't fully tell right from wrong yet, so be sure to model your best behavior.
