Understanding Same and Different

With the help of her pattern recognition skills, your child is continuing to take in a great deal of information about the world and processing it with her Understanding Same, Different, and Opposites skills. This helps her put objects in different categories and lets her think about them in new and interesting ways. For example, Chihuahuas and Great Danes look very different, but they are the same in that they are both dogs.
