Your Child is Learning to Play with Others

The way that your toddler plays is changing from the way he played as a baby. Instead of simply playing alongside other children, he is playing with them, even looking for a special friend, and becoming aware of the rules of and ways to play. Help him practice different prosocial skills, such as Cooperation, patience, and taking turns, and praise him for his efforts, which encourages him to keep on being prosocial (i.e. acting in a way that's beneficial to others, including sharing, helping, and cooperating).

Has your child achieved the following Cooperation developmental milestones yet? If yes, check off all the skill(s) he has already mastered to date!
