Music Appreciation and Creation

The Musician in Your Child

If you want to expose your child to music, where do you begin? Parent-child music appreciation classes are a great way to start. They focus on making music fun, and have a variety of songs and activities. If your child is ready, more formal lessons can start as early as age three. In addition, make your home a musical one and start her musical appreciation there. It's easy to do as there are many different musical activities you can do together, including singing, dancing, and playing along with music in the background.

Has your toddler achieved the following Music Appreciation and Creation developmental milestones yet? If yes, check off all the skill(s) she has already mastered to date!
