Scientific Observation

The World is Your Child's Oyster

Your curious toddler will continue her experiments to expand her Scientific Knowledge. Cause and Effect is one concept that your child will be particularly interested in, which answers the question, "What happens if...?" She might watch what happens when she tosses a leaf in a pond vs. a rock, or what happens when she picks up a snail. She may also be interested in using simple tools in her explorations, poking the dirt with a stick or putting magnets on the refrigerator. Show her how to use a magnifying glass, and she may be captivated with this new level of observation.

Has your child achieved the following Scientific Observation developmental milestones yet? If yes, check off all the skill(s) she has already mastered to date!
