Let's Sing! Three Ways to Bring Music and Song into Your Child's Play

Do you often sing songs to your child or play music throughout the day? If so, you may start to hear your child sing some of his favorite songs from memory at this age. He may sing along with you, if you start the song, but he may also sing to himself as he plays. You might hear him work a song into his pretend play, singing his doll a lullaby, for example. He may sing the birthday song to his toys, and if he's feeling bold, he may even sing a song for a special friend or grandparent.

Has your child achieved the following Music Appreciation and Creation milestones yet? If yes, check off all of the skill(s) he has already mastered to date.
