Expressive Language

Your Baby's First "Words"

In the first few weeks, your baby communicates to you with body language, facial expressions, and sounds, often in the form of cries! It's quite exciting when, as she grows older, she finds new ways to talk to you: coos, squeals, gurgles, and giggles. Have fun talking to your baby, giving her your undivided attention. Also, in addition to real words, try repeating some of her sounds back to her and see her reaction. It's sure to bring on smiles!

Has your baby achieved the following Expressive Language developmental milestones yet? If yes, check off all the skill(s) she has already mastered to date!
