What's New? Your Child's Curiosity and Enthusiasm Nurture an Interest in Trying New Things

Between the age of three and four, your child's independence is growing, as well as his imagination. You may find your child eager to try new activities or go to new places, especially when you show your own enthusiasm. He may be truly delighted when learning and mastering something new, such as tying his shoelaces. And he may then be excited and proud to show you his new skill. Nurture his enthusiasm, and don't be shy about showing him how to do something more than once. A task may take a little while to click, but your child is working on it and will be quite proud once he has figured it out.

Has your child achieved the following Self-Concept developmental milestones yet? If yes, check off all of the skill(s) he has already mastered to date.
