Self-Concept
No More Diapers! Hooray – Your Child Is Fully Potty Trained (Though You May Still Have Some Challenges)!
At this age, your child should be using the toilet on his own. Gone are the stacks of diapers, which have been replaced by "big-kid" underwear. There may still be an occasional accident, especially if your child is excited about being at a new place or event, and forgets to listen to his body. But for the most part, he will let you know when he needs to go, or just go ahead and use the potty on his own if he's in a familiar place.
