The Many Ways Your Baby Uses His Hands

We take for granted all the amazing things our hands can do, but your baby's still building his Small Muscle Movement and Dexterity. Still, after a year of practice, there are a number of new things he can do. His pincer grasp is improving every day, allowing him to pinch, squeeze, grasp, hold, and throw with more control and purpose. He can pick up objects, turn them around and poke them to explore in greater detail. He can empty and fill containers and squish craft dough just for fun. With his self-feeding abilities also improving, he'll soon be mastering the use of spoons and cups during mealtime.

Has your baby achieved the following Small Muscle Movement and Dexterity developmental milestones yet? If yes, check off all the skill(s) he has already mastered to date!
