Active, Coordinated Movement

Your Baby is Off to the Races

Your toddler's gait has been improving, and he'll soon be not only walking but running! your baby may be a little wary of running at first, but with improving balance and more control of his body, he'll be running circles around you soon enough. Being barefoot is the best way for babies to learn to walk and run, letting them grip with their toes and use their heels for balance. So, if you're at home or the weather outside is pleasant, give your baby the chance to feel the earth under his feet!

Has your baby achieved the following Active, Coordinated Movement developmental milestones yet? If yes, check off all the skill(s) he has already mastered to date!
