Receptive Language
More and More Reasons to Communicate!
Now that your child's vocabulary has grown, and she is developing a better understanding of the communication process, you may soon find yourself with a chatty little one by your side. Sometimes, she may get frustrated if you can't understand the point she's trying to get across. When this happens, do your best and attempt to figure out what she's trying to tell you. And don't forget to practice the words you use everyday, so she can improve on using them. Giving her simple instructions to follow, such as "Please put your shoes on before going outside!" is a good way to get vocabulary practice in.
