Balancing Act: Your Toddler's Controlled Movements

Development works from large muscles to small, so your child needs to develop balance and control of his core body muscles in order to support the muscles in his arms, hands, legs, and feet. As his balance improves, he'll be able to stand up on tip toe, and be more steady when he walks up and down the stairs. Climbing and dancing are other good ways for your child to improve his stability and balance, as well as exercise the large muscles in his body.

Has your child achieved the following Controlled Movement developmental milestones yet? If yes, check off all the skill(s) he has already mastered to date!
