Expressive Language

Toddler Talk: Sentences, Vocabulary, and More

From babbles to first words, your child's Expressive Language skills have been expanding rapidly. She's now able to use 2-4-word phrases and sentences. Some of these words are sure to be ones she's heard you use, so pay attention to what you say in front of her! Remember that body language and gestures are still important, so be sure to use them to support your spoken language.

Has your child achieved the following Expressive Language developmental milestones yet? If yes, check off all the skill(s) she has already mastered to date!
