Scientific Observation

From Curious Infant to Experimenting Toddler

Your little scientist first began to absorb Scientific Knowledge through observation of the world around her, watching the wind move through tree leaves or the changing patterns of sunlight shining through a window. Now that your child is 18-24 months old, however, she's capable of bigger experiments! She may fill and empty containers, test gravity by knocking down a tower of blocks, or enjoy digging in the dirt to see what she can find. You can support her experiences by answering her questions and exposing her to new environments and activities.

Has your child achieved the following Scientific Observation developmental milestones yet? If yes, check off all the skill(s) she has already mastered to date!
