Baby Talk: Happy Greetings
Show your baby how happy you are to see her with a big “Hello!” and chat her up about her day. Happy Greetings, an activity for 3-6 months from Playful Bee, will help her learn to reciprocate greetings and show interest in your day by responding in joyous baby talk.
Directions:
- Say “Hello!” Whenever you first see your baby, whether it’s at wake up time or after a long day at work, say her name and greet her enthusiastically to show her how happy you are to see her.
- Talk about your day. Transition into a conversation about the day ahead or events that occurred earlier in the day.
